That mostly inflated thing that the leprechaun bear is holding is a four-leaf clover.

It was much easier to find shamrocks festooning the neighborhood than four-leaf clovers!

I’m liking this for purely political reasons. I saw at least a dozen Trump flags/signs on my ride today. They don’t contain any rainbows or anything pleasant!

I found a few rainbows, a few shamrocks (but most were 3-leafed, not 4-leafed), but I only found one leprechaun, so he got to be the star today.

I wasn’t sure what I was gonna do about today’s contest cuz online prep wasn’t really possible and tbh I have trouble seeing things when I’m riding by. I’ve had glaucoma since age 26 & I think one of my ways of compensating for some of my eyesight loss is to focus more. (Some of my photo search rides have been at 8-9 mph [emoji2358])

I wanted a real ride today though. Luckily Beth’s riding buddy for today canceled…. [emoji16][emoji2188][emoji2188][emoji1360]
I swear she SQUEALED when she saw this [emoji304] in a window…. I thought she’d had a mechanical. [emoji28]

I was fearful that I wasn’t going to find a rainbow, leprechaun nor 4-leaf clover, and then all of a sudden, while stopped at a red light, there appeared a leprechaun on his way to the St Patty’s Party at the Beach [emoji905] Shack in the Little City of Falls Church!

Ouch — you know, in the last 3 days I’ve had numerous dogs lunge at my wheels when I’m on the road and they’re on the sidewalk with a human. Fortunately, they’ve all been leashed and grabbed back in time — but I have to wonder what the heck is going on? It’s the first time I’ve seen this type of behavior in years! Maybe spring fever? Or COVID weariness?

I don’t know what is with dogs and bikes! I’ve been munched on twice, and t-boned one at about 30 mph and ended up in the hospital. That dog will never chase a human again!
