A monstrous (impressive quantity) collection of mini-monsters (unusual animals or mythical beasts), including Godzilla, King Kong, and more than 25 dinosaurs. I honestly stopped counting the dinos. There were just so many and this picture only captures part of the fierce assembly.

I’m using definition #4 and 2a.
Although, I did not climb it today, Zittlestown Rd. is a “monster” climb. It goes up 420′ in .9 miles, and has an 18% stretch near the top!
Also, if you look closely, you can see a tree “monster” lurking in the woods!

I don’t want to say anything potentially disparaging myself, but other, less popular, legumes call this dancing guy a monster:

Definitions 1b, 2a, 3, 4, & perhaps also 5 (in terms of Mr. Peanut’s advertising success).Plus a weinermobile, a monster in and of itself.

(public art?)Is that where the Dental [emoji3103] Practice used to be in TyCo, on Gallows Roads, across from the DMV?

This is (I believe) the Philly Chunk Pack by Kenny Scharf.
I’d consider this group a fine assemblage of monsters of the 1A type — they’re weird drop shapes and have peculiar numbers of eyes and an assortment of teeth. Some certainly seem friendlier than others.

Found this in my local Little Free Library. This book is in a series about a supernatural killer. Joe Hill, the author, is the son of novelist Stephen King who knows a thing or two about monsters.

I’m using mostly definition # 3: a threatening force …. But it also qualifies for 5: highly successful & arguably also for 2b (of immoral character)
This monster was found in conversation with Anne (awitt, here, I think) while looking for murals depicting monsters on our ride today. We were just turning around on the w&od by the whole foods in Vienna, & she said “Well the only thing more monstruos than Whole Foods is Amazon” and I said “They’ve merged. Ok you convinced me. Thanks,” and snapped this picture:
I wasn’t planning to make a political statement…. It just sorta happened…. [emoji57]

I couldn’t ride my bike very far today, but I already knew about a house with a monstrous addition. This is a regular house in our neighborhood in front, but their backyard is filled with an addition that just looks a little too large…
Definitions:
1b: Something unusually large for its kind
4: something monstrous

My first thought was to go with definition #3 – a threatening force – and photograph the scourge of 8th NE: a Sunbelt truck. I parked my bike in front to provide a sense of scale (these monsters are more frightening when seen in “on the wrong side of the street coming toward your daughter” mode). Nightmares.

The Hulk is one of the best-known superheroes in comic book history. Despite his heroic status among the rest of the Marvel universe’s superpowered community, he is more often than not viewed as a monster by society.
I use definitions:
2b: one who deviates from normal or acceptable behavior or character
3: a threatening force
4: something monstroushttps://www.strava.com/activities/4896272803

To me my monster is (1a) a strange or terrifying shape, (3) a threatening force and (4) unnatural

I’d agree that his glasses are unnatural!

Were they lining up for a parade or something? I’ve not seen anything like that for years! Truly a rare find!

an animal of strange or terrifying shape
That looks like one of the talking figurines from the TV show Wonderfalls. (Look it up if you haven’t heard of it. It was a great show that Fox cancelled after one year). lol, I actually have the DVD of the season and watch it quite often.
