College Park Lanes aka Bowlero. I serenaded my biking buddies, humming Ravel’s “Bolero”, made famous by the movie “10” starring Bo Derek. (They were unimpressed.)

I’m impressed. You know that whole piece well enough to hum it!?

3/5/21 – Monster
3/5/2021 — monster. Here’s my bike in front of what I think is a deer from Mayan mythology. See definition 1.a (“an animal of strange or terrifying shape”). The whole mural is also a monster, definition 1.b (“one unusually large for its kind”), because it’s over 500 feet long. Definitely worth checking out — Mural 23 in Crystal City.

I caught a glimpse of Sasquatch (aka Bigfoot) early this morning.
Definition 1a: an animal of strange or terrifying shape.Looks like he’s already in a festive mood for St. Patty’s Day.

bikedavid and I had the same destination in mind, seeing four monsters (definitions 1a, 1b, 2a, and/or 3) attacking Tokyo: Godzilla, Mothra, King Kong, and the Kraken

I went to my local bike shop in search of a “Yeti” product with a graphic on it. Alas, they’re a Trek shop so no joy. However, I did see the logo from a local brewery that celebrates a well known Fairfax County monster legend. I present The Bunnyman.

1a: an animal of strange or terrifying shape: a mythical monsterSo I grabbed my bike, and biked to the bridge then walked the bike to the stream bed under the bridge to visit the trolls. I had to take a pic of this one because the other was smiling and showing his butt. Thought he was too happy to be a monster.

3/5/21 – Monster – “1a. an animal of strange or terrifying shape”
On my travels today, I took photos of a dinosaur play toy at the local playground, and also of the Happy Meal dracula from Hotel Transylvania, but finally settled on this bristly dragon on a license plate.

On your ride, find a monster (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/monster – let us know which definition you are using), snap a pic of this beast, and post it in the forum
I think that this might be Cat 5: one that is highly successful
