Zeke’s coffee! On Rhode Island Avenue. I’m not a coffee drinker, but friends and loved ones swear by it. Bike racks right out front.

1/6/21 – National Bean Day

This place is a little Hole-in-the-Wall in Lyon Park off Washington Blvd in Arlington. They have the BEST pupusas, one type of which has beans. Yummy!

I was on my way to The Well Dressed Burrito, which serves great burritos full of beans and other tasty stuff when they announced a curfew in DC. Had to turn back to the safety and warmth of home. https://www.strava.com/activities/4579320614

So many great coffee shops to choose from. I thought Potter’s House would be appropriate. They were a crucial gathering point for the civil rights movement. They also provide meals to those who need them. And their coffee is also pretty good!

Rare Bird coffee roasters – i’m not a coffee drinker, but I have cycling friends that love this place.

Small business that features beans: Proteus Brews!
I do happen to love their chai, and tea latte, and hot chocolate. They sell coffee, too, but I don’t love coffee. I’m sure it’s delicious for those who do, however.
