You just need to get some number of dislikes and–poof–the post disappears. (You know, like the joke thread…)

I have been looking forward to today literally since last year’s happy hour. I went to happy hour last year despite not participating in the challenge, which I had initially dismissed as some thing you all crazy people did. Which it is, except I’m one of the crazy people, too, so I should have taken part last year.

Anyway, I don’t want to say I was jealous, but seeing everyone celebrating the end of the challenge, it was clear that I should have been celebrating my participation instead of celebrating because I like you all and I like beer.

This year, I get to celebrate all three.

I’m cross-posting this from the Awards thread:
    =================
Celebration begins whenever people arrive, although the advertised time is 5:00. I won’t arrive until closer to 6:00

As awards coordinator, I intend to start the awards “ceremony” at 6:30. There are a lot of awards; I expect it to go on for at least 1/2 hour–probably longer.

Celebration ends, I presume, at midnight, when Cap City closes.

An early heads up on one other thing too – those who would like to have an “official” BAFS nametag should try to let me know as soon as possible ahead of time if they plan to come to the event. ;-)

    In! (Peter Nuar)
I just realized this is tonight AND work isn’t putting the pressure on today.
    Ride on!

Sadly, it looks like I won’t be able to make it. I was looking forward to it (a lot), but I am decidedly sick. So going home to sleep instead :-/

So sorry Hans! We’ll really miss you, and you have done so much for #BAFS!

We’ll just have to arrange for another happy hour sometime that you can attend. I hope you feel better soon!

Ok, so who is being deputized to haul the chicken soup to hozn? We need someone with the kitty litter rear buckets and Dirt is out of town. I seem to remember that there’s another Forum member similiarly equiped who could serve in a pinch.

You should start celebrating with the 415 convoy then. We all killed it last year!

I know, I know, but having volunteered to lead at 445, I can’t leave my flock behind.

(I know that there will be some last minute add ons and cancellations, but I’d like to get as close as I can w/r/t the BASF nametags.)

Thanks for all of your hard work and patience putting another HR together for us Kathy! :D We can write out our own nametags though; don’t see why you feel the need to do that.

A call for help – Could someone please print out the “various” parts of the Leaderboard (indiv and team) and bring them to me tonight before we start? I have to run and just learned that RCannon won’t be there. I can access them by phone but would be so much easier to have paper.

    Don’t need charts. Just text.

    Thanks for any help offered!
