Save the date! We have a reservation for Thurs., Apr. 3 at Capitol City Brewing Company/Shirlington for the final BAFS happy hour!

More details will come, but we’ll need volunteers to help with a number of things, including Master of Ceremonies; a maker of a list of competitions/pointless prizes and/or a person to keep track of what we do and don’t yet have award givers for; assistant name-tag/award maker (with some artistic ability?); and probably several other things we haven’t thought of yet.

    Additional Post-Freezing Saddles Competition:

Because #BAFS officially ends at midnight, March 19 and the Happy Hour isn’t until Apr. 3, I propose an additional competition for March 20 – April 2. The winning team will be the one for which at least two members of the team (any two, and it can’t always be the same two members) posts photos of themselves on a ride or enjoying a beverage with at least one member of *each* of the other teams between March 20 and April 2. To win, the team has to cover all of the other teams. Planning ahead is allowed, but the photos must be taken between March 20 and Apr. 2.

Cap City opens at 11 am. I’m not sure what time they start the HH beer pricing, maybe 4 pm?

We could have a caravan meet at the Jeff, do a ceremonial lap around HP, and then head over

It’s my wife’s b-day, but she’s given me the green light. So I’ll be there, although probably not until 6:30.

If I’m not mistaken jrenaut already has proposed something like this. Two caravans? Or one big one?

If I’ve posted a “like,” it means that I have you on the list for rsvp purposes and BAFS nametags, and that I like that you’re joining us!
