    @Kbikeva, I think I’ve found the problem with uploading photos.  Last night, I posted a photo in the Public Art thread from my phone.  Today, it was still showing up when I looked at it on my phone, but not when I looked at it on my computer.  I don’t know whether it would have been visible on someone else’s phone.  In any event, I had to try again, uploading it from my computer.  Now it is showing both places.  But of course, with my middle of the night rides, I am typically uploading from the road, meaning I have to use my phone.  This is beyond frustrating!

    #scavhunt 1/6/2025 – This ball of SPRIGs is one of many seasonal decorations at Meadowood.  I was worried they would have taken them down before I could get my sleaze ride in on snow covered/icy roads around the complex

    @cvcalhoun – Thanks for that update. Not sure what we can do about it except, as I posted a little earlier, if anyone is having technical problems, let us know. We won’t automatically assume a photo is late just because it doesn’t show up before midnight. After all, it’s a game with pointless prizes. And it’s only critical if the photo is “THE ONE” …

    Simply said, atlas is a book of maps. Here is a globe, AKA a map of the world, with a snowcap on top. You could say, North America (except for south part of it) is really under snow now.

    #scavhunt 1/7/2025 – ATLAS was much stronger than Sampson, but a Multidisciplinary approach was needed to build the ATLAS rockets.  This was originally the site of the IU cyclotron.

    Atlas as in the figure in Greek myth holding the world on his shoulders, rather than atlas as in a book of maps.
