    @cvcalhoun – thanks for keeping me honest!

    I  hope you’re healing completely and rapidly. We miss your photos (and by extension of course, you!)

    OTTER

    We took this photo of my phone’s Otter Box tonight. It’s hard to see, but it’s all chipped up especially on the sides where the buttons are. There are scratches on the metal of the phone itself, I think from dropping it in the street while wearing street clothes last week. Fortunately, no cars ran over it, but the Otter Box has saved my phone many times over.

    2.23/25 In the deep south where I grew up, “ought to” is pronounced “oughta” or “otter.” After climbing Minor’s Hill in Arlington, I am thinking I OTTER climb more hills.

    @szibler

    I have an otter box too and I really need it! But 🤔 my understanding is this contest excludes anything we brought from home 🫤

    @Nadine, you are correct about the rule.  It was applied.

    This is a tough series of words right now — jeez! Gland?

    Since we can be mercurial (but still have to stick to the basic rules), we can award a point to everyone who plays – when it’s a hard word or the weather is awful, etc. However, we cannot award that point to a photo that isn’t in on time or is of something brought from home or there is more than 1 photo, etc. Even if it’s the best photo we’ve seen in our entire lives!

    But the question is: “Does a phone live at home? Or is it outside much of the time too?”

    “The pineal gland is a small, cone-shaped gland located in the center of the brain. It is named after the pine cone, which it resembles in shape.’

    2/24/25 – gland

    Well my plan was to take a pic of my riding buddy from under her chin, cuz salivary glands. But I ended up riding with 3 people (cuz it was finally beautiful out 🤩) and Jenn had us all pose for a group pic sticking our chins out Cuz she had the same idea.

    Sooooo she decided to show me her mammary gland – the top of it, anyway. Man, the things these dile freezing Saddles people will do for our games 😆😁🤷🏻

    2/24/2025 – Gland

    Dogs have sweat glands only on their noses and paws. 🐾 When we see dogs leaving wet paw prints in summer, we see their cooling mechanisms working.

    P.S. My three attempts to capture real dogs failed because those cuties couldn’t stand or sit still for a second.
