    #scavhunt – 1/18 – Seems like it’s rather SILLY the way crosswalks and bike lanes get cleared and then building/home owners dump snow back in them.  The photo is on King St in Alexandria.  Eads St and Crystal Dr in National Landing were particularly bad, but I didn’t stop for a photo

    We used these blue trail markers along the W&OD to practice numbers when the passenger was smaller, and he noticed something silly – there’s no number 1 anywhere to be found.

    People used to drive these big cars around all the time. Now most ppl think it’s SILLY to drive gas guzzlers like this.

    1/19/2025 ROWER

    The Potomac is a popular place for rowers in the warmer months. But unlike us, rowers tend to get their exercise indoors at this time of year.  I suspect the rower who owns that middle boat (the only one that’s a rowboat instead of a motor boat) won’t be back for it any time soon.

    Serdar – this Starbucks photo is so well composed – using the faces on the bags to frame the total. Of course, knowing Serdar had to ride an extra 10 miles to work off that Banana Nut Loaf made us smile too.

    Indiana – wow, talk about completely and totally capturing the concept. This was thoughtfully and artistically captured.

    Yeah, @sszibler, a guy I’m dating and I now play Wordle and text each other to exchange our scores just after midnight. So I can get an early start on the scavenger hunt when I want to. (Although really, anyone can; there is a link on the first page of this thread to where you can find the day’s Wordle if you don’t actually play.) I did, however, edit the post to change the photo after I got home and was able to see the photos on my computer rather than the tiny versions on my phone.
