2/29 image – Some murals have fanciful images and some are more realistic. I love the facial expressions on this one near Tanner Park by Martin Swift. I feel lucky that I get to bike by it and other images regularly on the MBT.
I have an image in my head of people being angry at me on my ride this Saturday when we get to the climb after crossing Chain Bridge into Virginia, looking up at the top, then down at their GPS and seeing this 😀
Thanks, @nadine! I actually took two photos of that same artwork. The one for #publicartfinder had to include part of my bike. But I like this one–where the stairs were unlit, so the trees stood out more–better, so I used it here.
2/29 – UNIQUE IMAGE in the form of a shadow of a cyclist (on top of an image of a cyclist painted on the pavement) in the 15th street NW DC cycle track cuz, ya know, Dr Seuss taught us that no one is youer than you so there can’t possibly be two, especially on Leap Year Day.
