ParticipantSo, does the photo have to include both first and last names, or just last? I’m thinking, for example, that since there is no John Adams memorial, the contest may be quite short if we have to find something with “John Adams” in it. On the other hand, the Washington Marina doesn’t include “George” in it. If the last name is enough, I’m sure we could find plenty of things around here that had just “Adams” in them.
And is “could be perceived to represent” broad enough to include things not actually named after a President, but after someone else with the same surname?

Last names are okay, First names are a little weak (John probably won’t get three likes), obscure first or middle names that can be attributed to the president are fine – “Millhouse, Quincy, Dubbya” it can even be a place that the president is obviously linked to. Chicanery and Obfuscation are encouraged.

ParticipantLove the challenge. Trying to think a couple presidents ahead already to come up with photo opps.

ParticipantIs this a large group thing or individual?
So, do I need to go out and find my own “Washington” now or do we all start working on Adams?

Fair game, but if not creative enough it may not get 3 likes.

One Team One fight. we now have 3 likes for Washington so go out and find an Adams, or whomever we are on by the time you get a photo linked to the forum.

ParticipantGetting a sufficient number of dislikes might eliminate a post from a thread. Would this not throw a wrench in these matters?
Bwah ha ha.

Good point Dismal, new rule, 3 more likes than dislikes, and once we/ve moved on to the next President, we’ve moved on. Post an Adams photo and it doesn’t matter how many dislikes my Washington gets.

ParticipantShould add to the challenge that it only counts if you find the ACTUAL FDR memorial, not the poseur memorial down by the tidal basin.
Anyone know where the actual memorial is? The one FDR asked for? Anyone?
