ParticipantI’m told the Washington Blvd Trail Phase II is in “final VDOT review”
VDOT’s ongoing Route 50 / Courthouse Rd / 10th Street interchange project is hugely improving / extending the Arlington Blvd Trail in that area. Arlington is also applying for a State Grant to extend / improve the trail between Washington Blvd and the new VDOT section.

ParticipantPhase I of the Potomac Yard Trail from Glebe to Monroe has re-opened. The fence around the park is gone and the trail has been resurfaced.
Phase II from Monroe to Braddock should be completed in 2014.

ParticipantNow that the Alexandria city council has approved them twice, unanimously, I think we can consider the King Street lanes near Janney to be beyond the debate stage and in the planning stage
