ParticipantI don’t know the actual grade, but the stretch of South Kings Highway between Telegraph and Route 1 has some pretty serious and lengthy slopes to it. The first hill is like 100′ over maybe 1/4 or 1/2 mile, if I remember my Cub Scout orienteering correctly.
You will cross a peak heading south, drop back down into another valley, and climb another 150′ over 3/4 of a mile.
Further north, you could turn right on to Franklin Street. It climbs 40′ or so in just 300′ or so. That section of Franklin has warning signs and prohibitions for truck traffic.

ParticipantSir/Captain/Doctor Sweaty Wagon.
But I just call the black one “MotorBacon”. It would be nice to replace the decals with that appellation instead of keeping the original Motobecane.

ParticipantI mounted a quad-lock to the back of my otter box defender. I had to cut the rubber outer shell to allow the quad-lock to be applied directly to the inner case. This configuration has survived several single-track crashes that would have destroyed a less tough setup.

ParticipantGizmodo did a review two years ago; five minutes and a cheap angle grinder will steal any bike.

Write down your serial number and keep it safe. Take photos of the bike, document all modifications. Call your homeowners or renters insurance company and verify your policy covers your bike and negotiate a nice deductible.
If the thief wants it, it is a low bar for them to take it.
