Hi all –

I’m Tim. I commute year round from Arlington/Falls Church to Herndon.

I’ve been following the forum intermittently this year.

I’m looking forward to participating in Freezing Saddles and meeting more of my fellow riders.

Evening update (Heading east):

Clear in Herndon into Reston, very few icy patches and at least one side of the trail is clear where there is ice.

After Old Reston Avenue – where it was icy this morning, it was mushy tonight and harder to navigate.

Approaching Wiehle Avenue – same as previous.

The climb up the Buckthorn hill was in much better shape (no picture).

But the approach to Hunter Mill Road was also pretty mushy.
