But now it covers the whole bridge! I go straight to the TR Bridge, and was able to avoid paint-related slippage before…
When going over slick surfaces, going straight is the safest way of doing so. It’s once you start turning and your weight isn’t directly over the bike that you have problems.
Think about when you went mountain biking out in Colorado (you don’t slide out going straight over loose dirt, you slide out going around turns over loose dirt).

ParticipantHis and Hers bikes!
This was a project that took about 2 months. I went down to South Beach to get engaged and came back with a fiancee and an order for some shiny bikes.
There is a shop in Boca Raton that specializes in custom cruisers and single speed bikes that has a powder coating guy on contract that can do just about anything.
The bikes finally arrived earlier this week:

Someday I’m going to rent an old fashioned bulldozer just to drive through those construction sites and clear the bike lanes.
Should we call you Marvin, or Arturas?

Click on the EFC station and you can see the past 24 hours of docking/undocking history. Looks like there have been 2-3 spaces open the past 24 hours.

In a street car in street conditions a helmet just might increase the chance of an accident in the first place.
What about wearing a bike helment while driving? What about a football helment?

Or, based on your experience this weekend, shoulder pads?
The best defense is a good offense.

Was he wearing lycra?
Maybe tighter fitting shorts, but a looser top. Very retrogrouchy.

I emailed GWMP and BikeArlington (#tiltingatwindmills) today to ask whether they had connected about possible treatments.
Your message was passed along to the people more appropriately involved on the infrastructure and signage side of things.

And I though it was just me that tried to time them right.
They need a geoengineering company to figure out that the soil back fill under the deadmen links between the upper and lower walls was not properly compacted? The soil settled, the deadmen did not and we get a set of woop de dooz.
It has been replaced twice in the past 15 years with the same effect, so they want to see what’s going on. I think the issue was discussed at the most recent BAC meeting so there may be more details in the notes.
