And I suppose you favor video replay for balls and strikes. The imperfection in calculation of ft climbed is part of the game. You’re ruining the game.

ParticipantIf your garmin is shorting you on total feet climbed you can always open your ride via the strava website and click correct elevation.

Thanks — that’s more what I had in mind
. How do you secure yours to the bike?
I use the Revelate gas tank – it will hold a decent amount of items, including a power bank – and is situated on the frame in a location that makes it easy to recharge lights or devices on the fly.

The Strava issue seems to have resolved itself. A miracle. Again, I encourage that the Strava group page be updated to be more explicit on what tech support tickets are to be posted here, because as written, it is misleading.
Who cares? Ride your bike and eat your feelings and everything will always work out. Like they did here!

ParticipantI have a 20 mile Wednesday morning hill ride that goes off every Wednesday at 6:10 am that we can do as a team. Corner of Rockingham and Powhatan. 30 easy points and we’ll be done by 715.

ParticipantThere is one solution, and one solution only. Hydraulic disc brakes. It will be the best money you ever spend.

HP does kill the elevation. I usually don’t get the Strava elevation badge until the last few days of the month. It’s part of the reason why I’ve vowed to do less HP laps this year.
Excellent. You are one step closer to living forever.

2017 Goals
– get rid of anything I own that is high viz
– get hit by a car but come out on top in the end
– get in a fistfight with any elf car operator

– go off the front and take a wrong turn on at least 50% of group rides2018 Goals
– do not wear any hideously ugly cycling clothes
– passive aggressively insult all e-Bikers that pass me on Key Bridge
– call all passes but never cover my light
– stop crying on hill rides
