    Sorry for the confusion.

Bike seems to be stolen. I don’t frequent forums and only joined and posted in the “Lost & Found” in an attempt to help the original owner recover their bike.

Sorry to doubt your motives. I’m overly cynical. Thanks for trying to help out.

I didn’t want to make everyone envious of my trail-side swag score.

You could ride down to Yards Park and play in the fountains.

I see why you wear elbow & knee pads to ride in the city. You might wanna think about a helmet.

Oops, did I shoal you three times after that? My bad.

Elbow and knee pads?! Is this a thing?

My initial assumption was that they were flagging an obviously stolen bike, but reading it again it does sound more like an advertisement. But hey, it even comes with that **cough** GPS-enabled**cough** Garmin 500, what a deal!

You might be right. Could go either way.

So someone joins the forum yesterday and immediately posts a Baltimore CL ad for a $9K bike going for $2K. Hmmm….

You: Clearly 1989’s Conway Twitty. Man, I’m a huge fan of your work. You should do some more duets with Loretta.

Sorry not to have said hi, but I don’t actually know how to recognize you.

Yes, your call was great. You can recognize me by the creaking and squeaking of my drive train – it’s only quiet in the rain for some reason. I was in the back of the line – two-tone green hybrid with a rack and a rear light mounted to the left seat stay.
