LFL at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on N. Frederick Street at the Custis Trail in Arlington.
Mostly books for grownups. Needs kid’s books!
Funny that a book called “Starving” was right next to a book entitled “The Man Who Ate Too Much”![emoji23]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This LFL was at 1228 Utah Street in Arlington. I loved the barn shape. So inviting!
I was hoping I would find a squirrel living inside!

This friendly little library is located at Long Branch Elementary school in Arlington, on N. Filmore between N. 1st and Arlington Blvd.
it is exclusively filled with books for kids…Appropriate given the location. I found one of my favorite children’s books inside, “Poppy” by Avi. (I was just telling someone about this book today!)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Path of Thorns and Roses is a sculpture that spirals upwards and includes six allegorical figures. One of the figures is Hope, a man with a bald head standing on his toes within a large circle of thorns. He holds an unbloomed rose in his hands.
The sculpture is at the Contraband and Freedmen Cemetery Memorial in Alexandria. This is so cool!
