ParticipantThis was a great venue! I agree about having more happy hours here, maybe alternating with those lovely across the river folks

ParticipantThanks everyone for the intros thus far. Good news, everyone is signed up to our Strava team! Reminder, our first team social event is this Thursday, 6:00pm at the lodge in front of the Washington Monument. Infiltrators are welcome, but only true ice cubeds will receive their 2018 commemorative cube. Hang it from your saddle bag or wherever. Pairs great with Komorebi’s zipper pulls. Keep up the riding. You’re doing great.
Over & out,

I’m offering a pointless prize called the Spirit Award this year. The prize will be awarded to an individual who embodies the spirit of Freezing Saddles by encouraging others and doing things that help build a stronger Freezing Saddles and bike riding community. Tell me about the cheerleaders on your team. Some examples I can think of from past years:
Ian Fingerman introducing me to other participants and pulling me into conversations the first year I played.
Kate’s constant promotion of doughneuring.
Sunyata’s introduction of Social Butterflying, Infiltrating and Sock Game.
Komorebi preventing me from quitting Freezing Saddles last year after a mental breakdown.
LSG dropping off a goodie bag during my other mental breakdown during last year’s Freezing Saddles.
Ricky D showing up to like every group ride last year.
Eric Williams going on 150 mile rides in 20 degree weather.Tell me about a team member that has somehow inspired you, motivated you, helped you or done something awesome for our community.
Judd,
I love this prize. However, reading your post, I wonder how many “mental breakdowns” may have been related to HP laps. Kudos!

ParticipantWould anyone be interested in shooting a trailer for the Mamil movie called Mawils gone wild? Thinking we have enough ladies in the groups to make a short trailer…. Bobco? Looking for some theatrical inspiration. A trailer with local ladies in a mockumentary could help the draw….

My costume arrived in the mail this past week. I’m hoping for cold weather or I am going to be the grossest, sweatiest, TMNT of all time.
