ParticipantPeanut decided that next year he would one up drevil and sponsor the “real pupple” pointless prize.

ParticipantRimas got more than he bark-gained for with his latest n+1 purchase.

ParticipantPeanut thought, perhaps the bike wasn’t too big at all; perhaps he just needed a shorter crank arm.

ParticipantPeanut became concerned when he realized that Jon had forgotten to install the road brake levers on his vintage ride.
SarahBee
ParticipantPeanut considered how appropriate it would be to ask to borrow Jon’s electric blue skinsuit to cover up his “kibbles & bits”.

Dear white trash mini-van driver,
SANFORD STREET IN DEL RAY IS 2 WAYS! Do not, in your ghetto-ass 1990s shit-mobile, drive straight at me because you can’t figure which side of the goddamn road to drive on!
I’ve had a lot of close calls in the past few years but this one was one of the scariest… well after my heart-rate dropped back down to a reasonable level I almost wished you had clipped me and stopped because I think stomping on your neck would have made me feel better.
Must have been a British redneck in a 90s mini van. Glad no neck stomping was required!

I see your problem: 2 opposing bureaucracies each with (barely) plausible deniability. I think your only solution involves studded tires and aggressive acceleration and braking until a singletrack is worn in the polished surface.

And lose the brakes too

If we’re losing brakes, who needs gears? One should be plenty, especially for a kid-hauling bad-ass. This could be a really great velodrome contender! We all know Jon is a closet track bike skin suit kinda cyclist.

ParticipantSince this has been my 2nd flub year due to injury, I will repeat the tradition and provide a buffet of Freezing Saddle snacking goodness at HP from the back of my Mini.

Since the bike is actually not that much bigger, having the stem so elevated can throw off proper positioning. One way to “shrink” a frame is to increase one’s back angle, but this would result in a awkward hand position with how high the stem is. This is why stem height should be part of fitting process. Besides, if asthetics is in the equation, that stack of spacers is a definite no go.

Spacer hater! My stack is bigger than your stack.

Need to get it dialed in soon so I can put new bar tape on

Maybe hold off on the bar tape until you’ve had a chance to test this positioning out unless you want to practice your wrapping skills. Also, bull horns can look pretty rad with the right bar tape and hipster facial hair. Good luck!

ParticipantInteresting reference to correlating Finnish study that the demographic of people driving these cars are men who are “stubborn, argumentative, and unempathetic”. I pride myself on being a “lowly sidewalk dweller”, but at least according to the article, maybe that’s partially due to me being the least likely to be run over. Sigh…

I would certainly hope this awesome forum of ours do checks for malicious/spam links. Besides, the reputation of the OP and what the title says should be reasonably adequate to determine the legitimacy of a posting, IMO.
I love you very much and think you are cute. Thank you to the benefit of the forum and myself included that YOU only provide interesting links and let others summarize / comment. I think this indicates a high level of restraint and wisdom on your part. And I’m sure if everyone was subject to your piebald commentaries, they would appreciate just the links as well. Love you hon! Thank you for only being a movie & good critic at home
