ParticipantHello Team 4!
Many thanks to Jeff for being our fearless leader. I think this is my fifth year doing FS and have loved every year, I’m sure this year is no exception. I live in DC and work from home almost 2 years now, and like Komorebi, that keeps my miles down, but I love going out and playing games so there’s hope. I just discovered a coffee club in DC on Fridays and plan to attend this week. And Jeff I plan to do a Proteus ride too. Question Jeff about the mountain bike ride — is a gravel suitable for the ride?? Hope to meet everyone soon!!Robbie Rob
ParticipantBoomer you’re the best! Love the revised rules, but I don’t know what you mean by “sandbagging posts not allowed”.

Sounds fun! How many coffee rides won this competition last year???
I won in 2019, I tied with Josh A. for 112 coffees, the tiebreaker was the person who rode the least miles to drink the most coffee and that was me!

ParticipantI personally liked the zipper pulls because I could put it on and forget about, but I never remembered to put on my ankle band. Either one is actually fine with me but a different color would be great.

ParticipantI second that motion!!!!

Glad she is okay! Hopefully the driver stopped. Man, that sucks.
Hello Team 15! I am the second Robin on the team and it was good to meet some of you on Wednesday night. This is my first FS so I’m trying to learn quickly to keep up. Hope to see you on a ride soon! Robin (Robbie Rob)

Hi all, does anyone know this guy in the photo? It looks like he lives somewhere in Del Ray. He made an unsafe pass on the 14th St Bridge, right on the approach path where it was narrow and near some people walking, and I called him on it using a choice word (yes, this was dumb in hindsight).
Not recognizing the gravity of the situation (again dumb), I wished him a safe ride when he turned off Commonwealth onto the Mt Jefferson Park Trail and then he reappeared at the Commonwealth light and threatened to beat me up. I have a full video but thought I would throw up a picture first. I expect this kind of crap people who drive but I have never encountered if from anyone who bikes.
OMG! I guess you can hurt by a driver or a cyclist. It’s that “me first mentality!” Be safe.
