    Best place I found if you just want to put your head down and hammer…(and this is a bit of a drive): Dewey Beach to Bethany Beach in Delaware is a nice fairly straight road, nice wide shoulders, only one hill to climb (Indian River Outlet bridge). 21 miles round trip from light to light.

    Pretty much most of the eastern shore is light-less, and Delaware has some reallllly nice wide shoulders.

    I saw they added something from Roleur for the challenge finishers. Had I known that I might have tried to repeat the Rapha challenge climbing I did; I’ve got enough Strava jerseys now.

    It’s Complicated(tm). Ian’s wife is the Daughter of my Aunt’s Husband’s Brother. I’m not sure the cousin calculators have something for that.

    Luckily I have a very awesome wife. She and my daughter are going to be my Sag Wagon. Planning on Thursday departure from Front Royal, with Friday being the Northern return from Waynesboro.

    Thanks for the info on the road at Thornton Gap. How’s the Cellphone reception up there? Are we going to have to invest in a pair of FRS radios?
