ParticipantAlso, in case anyone’s interested, a few of us are meeting for coffee/breakfast tomorrow (Wednesday, 11/21) at A Baked Joint on K Street NW in DC, from 7:30ish to 8:30ish. Just a one-time thing…

ParticipantSounds like a good ride – very bummed I can’t make it, as I will be in NYC that weekend.
Maybe at 11 AM I can visit Doughboy Park in Woodside, pretty close to my brother’s place. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doughboy_Park

ParticipantI love these jerseys!! Would you mind sharing how you had them made up, what company makes them, etc?

ParticipantSounds like a fun ride, I’ll see if I can make it!

ParticipantI haven’t heard anything further about this, but would love to see a cycletrack on 17th Street NW. Like 15th Street NW, it’s one-way and has low traffic volume. Converting a lane to cycling infrastructure would be NBD.

ParticipantAgree, the trail is not great there – I prefer riding on Oregon Ave.

ParticipantIf it’s not raining, I might try to intercept you all at 6th & K (right by my office!) and tag along for the rest of the ride, but not the game itself. Crossing my fingers for decent weather for everyone!

ParticipantI don’t even see him on Strava at all. Hope he didn’t delete his account altogether! Wishing him the best, both on and off the bike.

ParticipantI’m hoping to make it! Though I can’t stay for lunch, so no worries about the headcount for that.

ParticipantOoh, if the weather is decent, I’d love to do this ride, would join at the Lincoln Memorial. Sounds fun, Judd!

ParticipantI’d only been in the Arlington location a few times, and they always treated me well. Then again I was there with a friend who bought a Pinarello, so who knows. I never did the Tuesday night ride, but tried the route a few times, and it is a fun, hilly, fast course on smooth roads. It’s always sad when a bike shop closes, and hope the employees find new jobs, but I’m glad Conte’s has expanded in the area recently.

ParticipantThanks cvcalhoun, and thanks Jon for the kind words. I’m pretty bummed but think it’s best to play it safe for now .
