Lol my signature is automatically posted in every post. I am on more than one forum and don’t want it to be to specific for any of them. The one forum wants a link to my build thread so that I can sell anything in the classifieds. I always thought it would be awkward to have a link to my honda ruckus on a bicycle forum but i may change it for you. It is tapatalk that post my signature automatically.

Wow that’s alot of info. It definitely sounds like i will have a hard time getting hin to stay ob two wheels. I hate to have him need a car to go riding. He bought a bike online so bike shop prices don’t matter to much yet. I was hoping to hook him up with some local shop rides and ect. Maybe the best plan is to start him out on roads with traffic. I will have to think about this.

Was thinking of doing a Dog’s Head Loop before Christmas. Start at the pub on Rehoboth Ave, then ride to the Brewery for a tasting, and then back for lunch.

I will be down there for Christmas but I would be going the opposite direction as my parents live 3 miles from the brewery let me know if you want to ride

Best place I found if you just want to put your head down and hammer…(and this is a bit of a drive): Dewey Beach to Bethany Beach in Delaware is a nice fairly straight road, nice wide shoulders, only one hill to climb (Indian River Outlet bridge). 21 miles round trip from light to light.

Pretty much most of the eastern shore is light-less, and Delaware has some reallllly nice wide shoulders.

This is a nice ride. I rode from milton de to Indian head bridge and back. It was a great 45 miles. I was looking for lights so i could have an excuse to stop lol

These things are in many ways nicer than my regular glasses! They have transitions lenses and all kinds of fancy coatings. I hadn’t used my insurance benefit for the year, so most of the cost was covered; there was maybe $200 that came out of my pre-tax FSA spending, and direct out-of-pocket cost was only about $80. Because of my nerd-level nearsightedness, I had very little option as to what style to get: even the Rudy Project inserts wouldn’t take my prescription, so there was no real cycling-specific option. I ended up with a sort of racquetball kind of thing, but the lenses are big enough that I’m hoping for good wind protection, which is my main need after this spring’s massive eye infection. I wore them around the house for about a half-hour today, and was getting used to them, but that’s about all I could take. I’ll try again some tonight, but I am not sure I’ll be ready to ride with them to work tomorrow.

You are working tomorrow? What do you do? i got my goggles from a motorcycle eye ware company online.

It will get better. I got a pair of prescription shaded goggles. Jelps alot in the cold. I paid around 90 bucks how about you?

Never thought about bottles freezing. I have gone on some cold rides but that never happened.
