I’ve encountered/overheard a few bewildered and unhappy tourists on cabis during my commutes recently. Lost people, bug-eyed at the 14th street bridge stairs, complaining about not being able to figure out how to cross memorial bridge kinda stuff. It’s a bad look for the city.

There are cones and aluminum troughs and poles strewn about making the stairs even narrower, and impossible to use the concrete ramps on the sides of the stairs.

I was on 110 beside the pentagon this morning and every single inbound lane was bumper to bumper from memorial bridge to the spaghetti junction at 395, possibly beyond. Those poor people won’t have a good time bailing to become bike commuters because they’ve made it equally impenetrable for us, my smugness is deflated.

That’s a good start but Google image search any list of characters in Mario or Donkey Kong would be fair play. There’s probably more than 100 recognizable characters to chose from.

If you’re headed to the MVT that’s one illegal and highly dangerous crossing vs, an extra half mile of 1 highly dangerous + 2 moderately dangerous +2 low danger crossings, all to reach the same place. Gooooooood luck having positive outcomes there folks.
