Hint: Fridays at the Fountain, behind where the stage was. Walk across the moat, watch out for crocodiles.
I humbly request 2 bonus points for whomever finds this ball and consumes the beverage contained within on site (photographic evidence required).

Seeing as he’s not on the roster, Team 19 would like to draft Chairman Meow.
I think we can work out a trade deal. It’ll be a beautiful deal, an artful deal.

However, Strava WILL count the straight line as riding mileage, which is technically cheating. So, please do separate rides if you are doing bike-metro-bike.

I don’t see my name above, but I received an invite to your team. I can un-join the Strava team if this was in error.
That’s weird, I haven’t sent any invites out. Sad to see you self deport, you seem like good people.
There’s a bad hombre named Judd who joined last night who is not on the list, I’ll have to send this weekend’s ICE after him so he doesn’t overstay his visa.

I tried this last night.
Comments: I forgot to take a picture while on metro – that said, I don’t think it would have been easy to do so. I was gripping my bike with both hands to make 100% sure it did not create any problem for my fellow passengers. There was room – I was in the last car, and furlough impacted L’Enfant Plaza pretty heavily. However there were still other standees, so I wanted to be especially careful.
At elevators I yielded preference to strollers and wheelchairs. At Pentagon (track to mezzanine) there were two wheel chair users. I offered to let them both go ahead. One went on. The second invited me to join him, as he had a smaller wheel chair and said we would both fit. The mezzanine to street level elevators at Pentagon are quite big – fit the wheel chair, me, and two people who had no visible reasons to not use the escalator (but who knows?).
I believe that if we make a point of using the metro as PAL’s, we can actually strengthen the case for this WMATA policy. I would like to say also model for our fellow people on bikes, but to be honest, I did not see anyone else with a bike on metrorail last evening.
By the way, tag your ride, I think everybody agrees you’d deserve a point for that. Thanks for being a good roll model (ahuh). The world needs more people like you to counterbalance the people like me.

LOL Zero motorcycles has a major product announcement coming out next month… and they already have a model (the SR) with blistering performance (0-60 in 3.3 seconds) for 16K. And plenty of cheaper models. That Harley nameplate had better be made of ten ounces of solid gold!
I’ll scoop my beard and oxygen tank up out of the way to check for you after I run your ass over.

Pretty sure the Alexandria Infra prize COULD have a leaderboard. Not a priority to me, but I hear SOME people might like it
If any of you programmers has a hankering for wasting time for my sake, it would be cool to see a chart with how many times you’ve completed each of the segments, rather than the single digit “score” of the segments with the lowest count. That being said, the mystery of not knowing your score at all would be equally appropriate

It was smooth sailng on the metro this morning from Farragust West to Reston! Spotted a couple of other cyclists taking advantage of the new policy too. Didn’t want my manager to know that I have the capacity of coming in earlier so using the extra 15 minutes I made a coffee ride out of it. Quite excited that I no longer have to wait until after peak and with the extra time I can now explore some coffee shops in Reston.

In other news, The Sky Is Falling. All Freezing Saddlers are advised to stay indoors as much as possible or risk getting beamed in the face by the violent heavens. Leading scientists point to data that you may be somewhat safe from this taking the Metro but getting to and from is just too dangerous. Please be safe and stay indoors and make as many dumb posts as possible on this forum with me and n18 instead.
