While looking for the nut we passed a dog part, looked for a nut dog, looked for Walnut Street, and even found some sad small acorns on the side of the road, but in the end, the chubby squirrel brewing came through with this cute squirrel & acorn. The place is small so the bike is on the curb waiting for the order of plain pirogies. No beer ‘cause this was halfway point.

LeftyLauraParticipantLocated in Reston, there are double tunnels that let you cross, without cars or lights, Reston Parkway and Colts Neck Court. You start at Southgate Rec Center by the basketball courts and take the path through the woods. The Reston Parkway tunnel is not photo worthy, but the Colts Neck tunnel is adorned with murals on both sides. Thoreau’s Ensemble contains over 700 art submissions from locals, young and old. Best way is to meet at Hunters Woods Village center, take the loop around Wells Fargo bank and up to Southgate. Go west young man.

A twofer day with Public Art and Picture of the day. I had an impossible time finding the mural. I had an address but that was not the mural site address. Without the keen eyesight of KBikeVA, I would still be stuck in OneLoudoun. (now to continue my story) a hard time tying the strings to the bike, but I was fortunate not to have the bike float up to the sky!!
