Having ridden around DC in the dark now for a week, I would just settle for people having lights period on their ride. I’m amazed how many people don’t want to pony up $8 for a simple bike light.

Me: Decided to do you a freaking favor and swerved to avoid hitting your Lexus and thus ate pavement and added another road rash scar to my right elbow/knee.

I biked out to the Lincoln Memorial with some friend and watched the launch. Really great crowd out there. Afterwards, we all went for a midnight ride around the monuments, was really really peaceful and beautiful at night.

Wow, didn’t hear that about Contour. Pretty surprising.

Here’s a low cost option I’ve been eyeing for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger on. It’s basically a cheaper Chinese clone of the Contour:
