Ok. I’ve got two takers and that is enough to lure me outside. 12:15 at the Smithsonian CABI station (Jefferson and 12th street). Bring a lunch. We’ll ride, picnic and otherwise avoid work!

See you then (if not at FCC or FCCII first).

Looks like this day should be upon us.

Today I cannot do it since I’m stuck with an accountant all day.

So, how about tomorrow. Scattered thunderstorms in the forecast but they shouldn’t hit until later. 12:15 pm at the Smithsonian Metro stop on the mall?

Let me know who is interested.

Yup, wintry mix here. My son just cried out “no more snow!”

Wintry mix is gone — just full on snow now. Seriously disliking Mother Nature.

Me too. We’re screwed. Expect April ice.

I swear I just heard and saw ice pellets hitting the roof!

Taking the studs off the Ogre and hanging them up with no intention of remounting them until next winter.

    Brakes: TRP HY/RD discs

    Opinions? Suggested changes?

I have no suggested changes — it sounds marvelous — but I’m dying for a full report on the TRP Hy/RD discs. That is likely going to be my next upgrade on the Viaje.

What is this devil magic that you use to be in your own photos!

Ask Pete he manages to do it all the time! In this case it was just me giving my phone to Kevin though.

This morning was lovely — despite being only 20 degrees. A day with sunshine and no wind. I took a lap of Haines Point and had an audience.

I said I would crown the King/Queen of the world award. Terms were most number of continents ridden on, or short of continents, countries ridden in. While I went to Europe this year, I didn’t ride this time. So who did?

    Here is what I know:

    Candidates:
PeteD — Grand Cayman (not a continent since its an Island but it clearly it is another country — or compared to our winter another planet). (Photo and Strava evidence).
OldbikeChick — Geneva, Switzerland. (Manual upload to Strava)

    Anyone else??
