Gummy worms are my eat whilst riding food. Way cheaper and better tasting than the fancy carb race fuel things. Worms not bears, easier to grab and not drop!

Something I’ve always wondered about for if I ever get stopped by law enforcement whilst riding my bicycle is “Do I have to show a drivers license?” I sometimes don’t have it when I am out riding, or I usually have a different government issued ID with me I could show instead. Would that limit their ability to assign points to a bicyclist?

When I bruised my ribs, I found the most comfortable position was actually on my bike. A nice relaxing roll is very therapeutic too! Hope it heals away quickly.

For my face, I use a scarf wrapped around and tucked into my shirt. I have one that that is stiff enough to stand up in front of my mouth and nose without being right on it. It lets me breath warmer and moister air and makes a huge difference. It is easy to push down out of the way if I get working really hard and start to heat up.

Anyway, during the off season heal what ails you. And it’s a good time to focus on mechanics and not becoming hypothermic.

    What is the “off season?”
