ParticipantI’m collecting sporty Frozemon. At the moment all I have to trade is a lone Fancy one. Willing to do one-for-one if anyone’s interested.

ParticipantStopped at Old Ox yesterday and drank both a cherry sour (Funky Face, pictured) and a Belgian dubbel (Hipmonk, no photo). I’m a fan of sour beers, so the cherry one was right up my alley.

ParticipantA little delayed, but got the brewmaster’s flight from Caboose in Vienna on Jan 5 while hunting the Calvinball. The saison was my favorite of the four, followed by the Citra IPA, the brown ale, and the ever-present Vienna lager. I have neither the palate nor the vocabulary to properly describe the beers, so I’ll go with the the ranking and a general comment that they all tasted like beer.

Is a scary thingI’ve modified the Calvinball payload.
Proposed ordinance: If you retrieve one Calvinball and hide N Calvinballs where N > 1, then you shall have 2N points deducted from your total score.
No longer happening, because of NPS restriction, but I’m proud of this one:

@rcannon I felt the presence of Sauron. Maybe reji should name the new bike after an elven sword.
Don’t know if editing a post bumps the thread, so here’s the update just in case.

ParticipantSame deal, didn’t realize you were blocked, my bad. Assuming there’s no longer contention over the definition of ride, I had a 70mi ride on the first as hozn said. I think Eric W has the SSSB, and we can transfer that soon. Vicegrip, I can meet you wherever once the ingot is forged.

ParticipantAny way to deal with team members located outside the DC metro area? Team 19 has two, which makes this a little difficult.

ParticipantHey all, I’m Josh. Most of my riding right now is commuting out to Herndon, which I started doing a couple days per week late this summer (and so this is my first Freezing Saddles). I don’t have a car, so I try and get most of my errands done via bike too, and I’ve been doing some exploration and working towards some of the Pointless Prizes over the past week or two.
I’m down to ride to breweries or out on the C&O or Hains Point or wherever else if my schedule allows it (which it probably does). I’m located in Arlington, but I will try to trek out to wherever if need be. I also have a mountain bike that’s seen no almost no use from me, so if anyone wants to hit some easy trails near here let me know. Recently I have begun to really enjoy biking at night as well. I’m shooting for perfect attendance during the season, and trying to get a daily ride streak going after that.
Looking forward to riding with you all!

ParticipantBike came out from under me right after the bridge over 66 in Ballston headed towards the Custis. RD is out-of-whack, but no damage to me.

Took a spill right here this morning, but miraculously landed on my feet. Rear derailleur’s not so happy though.

ParticipantI caught the Chinquapin menace and Gravelly Point monster. Spent some time looking for the Jigglebilly, but couldn’t find that one.
