    I saw them running stop signs too, but at least there was no hypocrisy: Myself and a number of others ran stop signs in front of scads of police (not just trainees) and they paid no attention to us.

    I have been tempted to stop in and try the coffee at the Herndon shop. Is it good coffee? Do they make espresso?

    The bridge over the pipe is well constructed. Yesterday, I walked my bike over it; however, today, it was in much better shape. Some asphalt is on the west side to smooth the transition from the trail to the plywood. Many thanks to the construction people!

    Thanks for the suggestions. I blew it out with air (thanks hozn). The pump is working again and I will be preemptively replacing tubes every few months (if they last that long without a flat).

    Thanks. Yes, I did that. I removed the piece inside, which the tip is stuck in.

    It’s a Hurricane floor pump. I took it apart as much as looked feasible without breaking any parts. No luck.
