Unfortunately this wormhole isn’t applicable to most of you (it’s in Philadelphia), but I thought it was pretty cool. I also didn’t document it photographically, so I’ve done my best with Google Streetview.

Looking at the path from the sidewalk on Ridge AveContext: you’re heading south on Ridge Ave, which is convenient but you’re getting buzzed by a lot of cars and you want to get down to the Schuylkill River Trail (MUP alongside the river). You hop up on the curb, then notice a narrow path between a cemetery and a wall. Take it until ends, climb down a ~2 foot drop, then hug the narrow strip of grass alongside West Hunting Park Ave until it gets too narrow as it goes under a cemetery road bridge. Hop into the road, take the lane and then cross Kelly Drive at the light to access the SRT.

This is Monty, part Australian Cattledog park mutt, out for a snowy stroll with his people.
Grateful drevil tossed us a bone today (pun intended). Was a little concerned we’d all be out looking for groundhogs!

Berwyn Heights Citizens Bridge
This spiral deck leads to a bridge over the WAMTA – Marc – Amtrak lines that connects Berwyn Heights & Lake Artemesia to College Park and Proteus Bike Shop where you can enjoy a cup of coffee … or buy a new bike ! (just ask [mention]HokieBeth [/mention][emoji6])

Excellent switchback practice on the ramps for that bridge. There are 6 on each side of the bridge[emoji16]

Parking stickers on a car, seen thru a bike frame….there’s something ironic in that I think.

That’s awesome! Did you ghost-ride bike #1 back home, or trade it in or what?
Proteus is holding it until I return with a car to pick it up. Will be posting for sale this week. Know anyone who’s in the market for 54cm Specialized Dolce in Lilac? Excellent condition, per Lori at Proteus

ParticipantAppearing live onstage….the Earworm Wormhole! < [emoji1319][emoji1319][emoji1319]>
A short but highly useful wormhole leads you to/from the Birchmere where lots of great live music has been and will be heard again[emoji1317]
The cool thing is this wormhole gets you into and out of the Birchmere parking lot avoiding their notorious traffic exiting a show, a treacherous part of Mt Vernon Ave and pops you right onto the Four Mile Run trail. Imagine going back in time through the wormhole to hear the music of legendary greats?

Participant1/39 Skateboard or skatepark
This is Luke who was at the Hyattsville Skate Park with his Dad and sister. Boomer, former skateboarder himself, coached him on how to pivot his hips so he could do a 360 and also encouraged him to “commit” to doing the trick. Luke was so excited as each time to tried he got better. By the time we left he had almost mastered the trick.
