How tall are you/would someone need to be to ride this? There are regular postings on the Women & Bikes FB group from folks who need bikes or have friends who need bikes.
I would say like 5″9′ – 5’11” is about right, but sometimes it depends a lot on leg length more than over all height. This bike rides fairly big so I can see somebody 6′ being more comfortable and in control, but below 5’8″ not a chance unless you have super long legs.

Nah, take Rod Smith with you or mtansill — they know all the best ways.
I usually take the Mt Vernon trail to the bridge to crossover though.

The weird thing is that this doesn’t seem to be a construction error — it was somebody’s deliberate decision.

ParticipantA new trail in Greenbelt bypasses the congested area around Beltway Plaza Mall. This trail connects Branchville Ave (the main access road to Lake Artemesia) with Cherrywood Lane (a main bike route in Greenbelt, which goes past the Metro etc.)
Here’s how it looks as your heading north-ish (toward Greenbelt) from Lake Artemesia. Entrance is by the PG metals scrapyard on the left. Exit is at the newly built (not quite open) ADA ramp at the three-way stop intersection of Cherrywood Lane and Breezewood Drive.

Trail Report: NW Branch Closed Between West Hyattsville Metro and Chillum Park, Bridge is Out. No Detour Signs. I Do Not Recommend Going Around at Chillum Road, Awkward Crosswalk, No Light. Vehicle Got Rear Ended After Stopping for Me.
