ParticipantThe 50 States ride might be the most grueling thing I’ve done. I ran the full Rock N Roll DC Marathon in March, and 50 States was still tougher than that. I’m gladly doing 13 colonies this time!

ParticipantYeah. I found the other forum right after I posted this. Sorry! The RNR Marathon is in a few weeks and Saturday is supposed to be my last long run. Then it is back to biking.

ParticipantAre the CCT or RCP trails any good? I have to run 20 miles tomorrow. Hooray…

ParticipantI’ll be taking a Bikeshare home today. I’d rather freeze than have another 2+ hour metro ‘experience’ like I did this morning.

ParticipantDoes anyone use Reno Road > 34th Street in the morning? I have been thinking about it as an alternative to going straight down Connecticut Ave. My intuition tells me it would either be gridlock, or the cars would be going 60 mph and I’d just be a moving target.

I have never seen it too full, even during big games like Opening Day.
Thanks. That’s good to know. I sort of assumed it would be full hours before the game.

I give them $1 or $2. The same as taking a Circulator round trip but so much faster and more fun. Plus the guys are awesome.

How quickly do they fill up? I thought about using it, but didn’t want to get stuck locking up to a meter for hours.

ParticipantI used bikeshare to get to the game last night and I won’t be doing it again. All of the docs were full within a mile of the stadium and there didn’t seem to be any effort at all to balance any of the stations. I circled around aimlessly for what seemed like eternity checking the spotcycle app every few minutes to no avail.

ParticipantAny clue how flat or not flat this ride is? I signed up for the long one, but may switch.

ParticipantThanks to the WABA folks who helped me with my flat, in the rain, with just a few miles to go. It would have taken me forever to fix that without them! I owe you!

ParticipantYes, I got it to work. But as TwoWheels said, it might be more trouble than it’s worth. I’ll just stick with recording my rides with the 200 I think.

Participant:confused: I can’t get the GPX to load into my Garmin Edge 200 either. I just got the GPS yesterday, so the probability of user error is high. I’m not sure what the problem is though.

ParticipantI joined at retail price over the weekend. I’m sure I’ll get my moneys worth out of it. It’s a small price to pay and way better than waiting for metro buses that never seem to come.
