Jó gota tha points. On your next 3 rides add the normal hashtag and TacoHunt so that the points show up on the board.

FYI Taqueria Habanero reopened last night for anyone who hasn’t been there yet!
Question about the bonus points: Do you mean add #TacoHunt, or just the words TacoHunt? And are they separate from from the regular hashtag or a part of it? I just tried a combination but the extra points aren’t showing on the board. Thanks!

Found! While Taqueria Habanero is sadly temporarily closed for renovations, their sister restaurant down the street is now open for business: Tequila & Mezcal! I’m not partaking in their namesake tonight, but the al pastor tacos are delicious and beer cold!

TACO HUNT #3
This place makes their tortillas daily and if your a fan of pin ball games you can flip your way into a post taco waze of contentment at a nearby pinball bar.

It seems this place is temporarily closed for renovations! They do have a sister place down the street…

Glad to hear that you’re thinking of joining the Lunar New Year ride! If you’re willing to PM me your email address or phone number, I can send you an email or text message with a link that’ll allow you to see my real-time location once the group starts rolling. That might make it easier to meet up.
Great, just sent you a PM. Thank you!

ParticipantI’m interested! I don’t live too far from the Takoma metro so may join you from the beginning. I’m also thinking about combining this with the Lunar New Year ride that is also happening Sunday afternoon. The timing should work out since that ride is starting from The Mall at 1 p.m., so those folks should arrive at The Block ~2:30. If we arrive at the brewery by ~12:30, that’s enough time to get a beer (or two), and then it’s 16 miles/~90 minutes from the brewery to The Block. Takoma Metro –> Beer Farm –> The Block is a total of ~38 miles (then it’s ~14 miles to the Kennedy Center for the latter half of the Lunar New Year ride).
If anyone else is interested in this combo, let me know!

ParticipantHappy Birthday!! To honor this special day I took a short spin from my office in Crystal City to the Whole Foods in Pentagon City to eat some pumpkin pie for lunch. Maybe I’ll share one of the slices with one my bikey co-workers, maybe not…
Hope you have a great birthday!

ParticipantThanks for the invite to SG! From what I’ve observed it’s only chaotic at lunch, so it should be a nice quiet spot.
Look forward to meeting you at HH!

ParticipantAnyone interested in a pre-happy hour happy hour? I work right nearby and don’t necessarily want to plug away until 6, so if you’d like to meet at Highline 5:30ish, let me know!

What’s the bike parking (or locking) situation at HighLine R&R?
I work in the 2011 building right across the street, and there are a bunch of racks in the parking garage. You can (safely) go down the car exit ramp, and the racks will be on the right.

ParticipantNewbie here! I’m interested, but as a D.C. dweller with no car, are folks usually open to carpooling? Would it be fairly easy to find someone to drive with on here?
