ParticipantSadly, this guy didn’t miss

ParticipantYeah, those fenders are really cool looking. Unfortunately, I’ve been told they’re completely useless, just strips of metal. I’ve already swapped them out. I like the ones on the new models, they look useful. The disc brakes will definitely be nice, my wet ride today was a bit hairy at times on my Trek 😮

ParticipantIt’s funny that I saw this post yesterday, then today (in DC, by the MLK memorial) I saw this:

Wow really nice bike, and I like its outfitting. Definitely keep that one locked up tight.
It stays inside at home, and I work at a federal complex, so it’s pretty safe! 😎

ParticipantAwesome stuff, Jeff! I think you probably know how much of an inspiration you are to me (I mean, come on, I had to buy the same bike!). I hope I’ll be writing about my 1st anniversary next year!

ParticipantAnd look at that sexy Selle An-atomica saddle on it!

Thanks Cert for the nice words, but I’m not sure it’s going to be a very effective ad since you bought the last dang one! I hope it works out as good as mine has. -Jeff
Have you seen the new year model?! It’s even nicer, I almost feel like I should’ve waited for the new ones (almost lol). They ditched the silly fenders on the ’11s and went with some really nice ones for the ’13 model.
by the way, ask Laurie about the Ortliebs LOL I seriously need some now. Can she put a single order in?

ParticipantSomeone put down a ghost tree at the site of dbb’s tree killing. We must all promise to ride a few extra miles to make up for the tree that dbb is responsible for having killed. Amen.

ParticipantI found a picture of dbb, a.k.a. “Tree Killer”
