Every dog I saw being walked today was without clothing! But I stopped by one of my favorite Little Free Libraries, and found not one (dog in car), not two (goose in raincoat), but THREE (bear in hat) books with pictures of animals with clothing, including the old favorite, Paddington Bear.

The Arlington Radio Towers were built in 1913 originally to provide the navy with high-powered communication between its bases, and was also used to transmit daily time signals. However, in the 1920s, they started broadcasting occasional entertainment programming.

They switched from the variety of street names they had, to ones that were alphabetical by syllable for streets east to west, and numerical north to south, with Arlington, Blvd being the north/side divider (for the most part). The 1935 street plat shows the plans for Arlington Blvd. being constructed, and the street name change of Shelley Street to S. Fillmore St.

The Columbia Pike library moved to its current location in 1975, and was also the library where I got my first library card in the 1970s, and I’ve been a reading demon ever since.

Smoke Island, Rockville, advertises itself as a tobacco shop. But am I being overly cynical to think that a shop that sells e-zwider rolling papers with Organic Hemp cone-z and Hempire natural hemp rolling papers does not cater exclusively to the tobacco crowd?Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
If you notice in the image, it advertises ‘Delta 8″ which is another form of cannabis

Like @consularrider I went to Vulcan Coffee in Alexandria, since “Vulcan” means “volcano” in Spanish, and everyone knows that volcanos spew lava.
