You were on the blue Bullett? Love the bike.
Yup, that was me. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

ParticipantRode about 18 miles today including about 75% of the Arlington Loop and some neighborhood streets. 17 total segments, 15 were marked as hazardous. I think Strava is going to end up with an ugly mass of repeated segments that keep getting marked as hazardous.

There’s a dad in DC who bikes around with his son on a CETMA. He loves the bike; however, he’s found the company– and in particular the owner/designer– hard to work with.
His review of the CETMA cargo bike is here: http://arideaday.blogspot.com/2011/12/cetma-cargo-bike-review.html
This reminded me of a Facebook group where the owner of CETMA (Lane Kagay) posts sometimes. The group started out focusing on a crowd-sourced documentary (originally titled Revolutions Per Second, but now titled Less Car More Go: http://www.lizcanning.com/Liz_Canning_Creative/Cargo_Bike_Documentary.html). There is still talk and updates about the film there but it has kind of turned into a general cargo bike group as well.

The group is a great resource for getting in touch with owners of all kinds of cargo bikes. It’s also great just for the photos of all the various setups that people post.

ParticipantOn my account I can switch back to the “Classic” maps app. Don’t know how long they’ll have both but it’s there (for me at least) for now. Click on the gear in the top right of the page.

ParticipantYou: Two roadies riding on the double yellow line, err, in the world’s skinniest bike lane, across the Key Bridge yesterday morning with plenty of traffic moving at speed both ways.
Me: Watching with dread, hoping I don’t see an accident. (They made it across unscathed)Whoa.

jrenaut, thanks for that tip, I think you might be right. I was able to find this string of code in the forum templates and complete the URL. The Facebook button is back. I got an “invalid redirect” error the first time I logged in. That worries me, but I logged out and back in, and didn’t get any error the second time.
Yup, no more error for me and the facebook button appears to be working.

ParticipantI see the error in Chrome. In Safari I see a quick white box flash (the iframe loading I presume) and no error or anything else visible after that.

No error, but no facebook plugin either. We’re on it.
Cool. Also, I don’t think I’ve linked my forum account to my Facebook account (is that even an option?) or added a Facebook plugin or anything. Weird that not everyone is seeing it though unless there is something different about my account.

ParticipantHm, so it’s actually a link to this address:
https://www.facebook.com/plugins/error/api?code=100&message=The+href+URL+must+be+absolute&hash=AQBTVakTW2LbTAwsAnd after clicking it this window pops up:

Did you ride a CaBi from downtown to Bon Air Park?
No, two different rides, two different days. I do regularly commute via CaBi from Ballston(ish) to McPherson Square(ish) though. I usually stop and dock halfway since it usually takes me a hair longer than 30 minutes.

ParticipantYou: Minivan looking lost and driving on the trail in Bon Air Park (Saturday 8/17 ~10:15am).
Me: Patiently riding behind you while you (thankfully) went the speed of slugs.I’m glad you were being careful and driving slowly, but how did you end up on the trail in the first place? Good thing there was a flexible plastic bollard you could drive over to exit the trail instead of one of those metal ones.

ParticipantYou: Black BMW convertible driver on M Street heading east (toward PA and L Streets) this morning, (Tuesday 8/20 ~9:20am).
Me: CaBi rider who you decided to pass a little close after GUNNING IT to get around me.My CaBi is faster than your Bimmer. Looks like you had fun sitting on L Street though.

ParticipantI believe there have been multiple lawsuits against Strava relating to hazardous segments and people getting hurt / killed trying to get a KOM. With that frame of mind it makes sense to have some way to mark the truly dangerous segments BUT I think it only takes a single person to flag a segment to get it marked as hazardous. So one person could take down a ton of segments.
What I think they should do is require multiple people flagging a segment for it to be hazardous.

ParticipantThink there was just a typo in the original link, this should work:
