[Boo Boo]

It’s the top of the levee. Nowadays from what I’ve found thus far, the rail lines (when they parallel the levees) mostly run just inside of them at the bottom. I don’t know, though, if there ever was a rail line on top of that one.

It is nice, though, that many of the levee tops have been converted into multi-use paths (some paved, some gravel). Makes for some nice long stretches of traffic-free riding. Although they are seriously lacking in shade!

Are you using a phone or camera for your pics? If the latter, what kind and how do you carry it?

I love SS. Sold off my last fixie in Summer 2018 before I had settled on moving here. Totally regretted it once arriving because this town is perfect for it. When Salsa released this bike, I had to have it. I forgot how much I love the quiet drivetrain and the immediate power transfer of a SS.

Most often, I carry a camera (Sony RX10) in a small slingbag. On some rides (like yesterday), I just use my phone and keep it in one of the Revelate Feedbags.

I’m looking for a small point/shoot with good zoom range to drop in one of the feedbags so I can eliminate carrying the bag. Haven’t found one, for a decent price, that I like yet.

Thanks – I love that bike. Took a while to get it dialed, but once I did (thanks to Bikenetic), it quickly became my favorite. Yes, it’s a Jones Loop – the 2.5 riser variety.
