Participant1/12/23 the 30s, 1930s–great depression and FDR’s New Deal created government jobs through the WPA. The St Pete City Hall was a WPA-funded project completed in 1939.

Participant1/10/23 the 50s So, not to brag but…I found the best entry…beautiful Chevy Belair 1956 Vintage Station wagon in front of a 1954 built home with matching aqua accents owned by Mick from Hastings, England and his wife Barbara born in England in 1955. And, the mailbox matches the car!!! Dryer Ave, Largo FL

Participant1/9/22 the 60s–found so many things of that decade including me (child born in the 60s), but that was done already. Many homes in Tampa suburbs are from the 60s. This iconic home exhibiting International Style architecture was on my ride today. The neighbor said he thinks it was built in 1960 and “you should see the inside. It is beautiful.”
Random -irrelevant details:
Sadly I spent about an hour researching the bridges I crossed and more to see what may have been from the 60s. I rode over Sand Key Bridge (& took pictures on and of) built in the 90s to replace the original Clearwater Pass bridge built in the 60s.

ParticipantRules Clarification: You do not have to have your bicycle in your photos. I am trusting you to only post #abc photos found during FS rides. I love the creative photos including your bikes and bike parts (especially the one through the spokes of the two Dodge Chargers). Initially I was planning to require bike in photo but I reconsidered to discourage unsafe situations on the road.

Participant1/8/23 70’s Roman Candle
Before regulations for firework safety interfered with good fun and personal responsibility for shooting an eye out, children of the 70s even held onto Roman Candles to fire them off (at least we did in Louisiana in the 70s).
