OK, this one is a little ways away, but it should be easy for anyone who’s been there. From today’s ride:
this looks like it could be on skyline drive.

Here’s an easy one in terms of location, but can anyone tell me what it means or why it is there??

Another old photo from my archives, I’m running out and need to ride more and take more photos. (Looking for color-coordinated backgrounds)
it’s on the woodrow wilson bridge looking towards dc and alexandria (on the left).
nice colors! fixed?bikesnick
Participanti saw this spot, from the bridge, and found the trail that gets here.
(sorry that the bike was not in the picture.)

hints: not a good trail for road bikes and this spot is underwater during storms.in keeping with pete’s mod, answer is here.

The other side is bad because of the loooooong ramp, right?
no, the “other side” meaning the grating on the left side; and the “other side” meaning behind me the bridge ends in a T. there is a ramp down to the right and stairs to the left. in the middle of the T there is a bar one must navigate. the bar is a safety measure to keep people from riding up the ramp and going down the stairs.

yes!bikesnick
Participanti did a loop for the first time today and stopped for this picture. the bridge is somewhat sketchy to ride, especially the other side.

This shouldn’t be terribly hard, but I haven’t had a chance to get anywhere cool lately . . .
it is the ramp overlooking the dc fish market waterfront.
