Has anyone ridden the total length of this new trail? I mean the parts of the trail that is open to use. I will appreciate Strava or RWGPS route.
Yes, I rode it this afternoon, from Cedar Lane to Rte 123 (Chain Bridge Rd) and back. The trail is very smooth, and I saw only a handful of cyclists. The noise and fumes from the cars/trucks were not that bad, but it was a cool and breezy day. The barricade is higher than expected, but the parts of the trail above the traffic were definitely nicer.

action: yet another very windy day, as seen by the unfurled flags
emotion: I really enjoy riding a bicycle, outside, everyday
engagement: A bicycle gives me the freedom to engage with the surroundings and explore places, art, and nature“Bikes are an instant smile machine, at any speed.”
— Matt Allyn“When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.”

I was going to post (yet another) West St sign for Comet West (the other bright comet from the 1970s @AlanA), but then I literally came across this box of encylopedia volumes almost in the middle of the trail. (!?)
The volume with “comet” is open. The picture caption reads:
“Daniel’s comet, photographed in 1957, has a period of about 6 1/2 years.”bikesnick

Vixen is enjoying some grass, but missing her friends.
(Astute observers will notice her right rear leg is backwards. For the last several days she was passed out on the lawn from too much partying after the big delivery season. She still is tangled in lights.)bikesnick

Dancers and prancers train here, although they probably don’t really prance.
