I’d like to sponsor Errandeering, similar to last year’s rules. Riders may count one errand per ride (if you are running three or four errands in one ride, you’ll need to make three or four separate rides). Errand rides may NOT include commutes to or from work, coffee runs, bagels with your boo, riding to the meeting place where you and your pod will meet to ride, or rides with your pod.

I will be watching leaders, and I will judge you relentlessly if I think you are having fun out there while you are supposed to be doing chores. If there are questions as to whether a ride counts as an errand, you may request the matter be adjudicated by a highly partial jury of myself and Laurie E. At the end, the winner will receive a Highly Treasured Selection from The 2020 White Elephant Gift Swap Stash.

I’m Libby. I’ve FS for 5 years now (well, 4, because one year I got injured and had to drop out). I live and work in DC. I’m in my last semester of classes for my doctorate in psych, so I would love reasons to leave the books and come out to play. Also, I’m extroverted and I love people and new friends, and all this alone time is not so good!!

I foster for HRA, so at any moment I might have a new cat coming or going.

Thanks so much for leading! It did such good for my soul to get out and ride around!

Just making sure I get my required post in, as I had to reset things this year. Here’s hoping for a healthy year this year!

    Hi there, Team 20!

I was there for the first hour and a half of happy hour and then I headed home… only to have my Jump bike break down on me! (They think it was a dead battery. Tell that to my DYING SOUL as I tried to haul 75 lb of bike up an incline!)

I’m a 3rd time Freezer (had to withdraw last year due to a non-bike-related injury), and long time rider. I commute mostly, in the winter, but I’m also up for decent weather nice rides. My roadie is very, very neglected right now. In the winter, I ride mostly my folder or my cross bike, with a ton of bikesharing.

Once we hit Jan. 16, mode of biking depends entirely on how many books I have to haul to grad school. :-)

Lemme know about a Team 20 event!

Hi, everyone! Sorry that I missed happy hour. I had to be out of town this week. I will be home by Monday. I am getting most of my miles from commuting, which I do on my ubernerd folding bike and sometimes bike share, but if we decide to do a team ride like some other teams, I’d bring out my cool roadie. I live in NW DC and work in Chevy Chase. Do I get extra points for dodging the CCT’s Aggressive Owl?
