ParticipantThanks Karen. This is a self-hosted event, but I’m happy to organize it and help with introductions. So glad you are joining us for these!
Arlingtonrider

Save the date! Happy hour at Cap City in Shirlington starting at 5 pm. All welcome, including newcomers and lurkers, but as usual, please let me know if you plan to join us so we can save seats. You all know the drill!
One more bump up for this evening. I think we have about 10-12 people planning to come so far. All are welcome! Just let me know. See ya’ll there!
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantDitto. I also like it in the winter on days when I don’t want to muck up my drivetrain with sand and road salt.
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantMade the fix – thanks!

It’s time to bump this up! This is this Thursday, Sept. 17. If the weather is as nice as it is forecasted to be, we may have competition for patio seats, so please let me know if you plan to come.

ParticipantSome folks have mentioned meeting there around 10 a.m. I’ll probably get there around 9:30. #holidayhours.
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantI am! See you there?

ParticipantTim, where can we find copies of it? Do the Commuter Stores have them yet?
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantMany thanks to all who showed up. That was a lot of fun! (Several people were still there when I left shortly before 9 p.m.)
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantThe forecast is looking better! Just a reminder that all are welcome to join us – lurkers and newbies too!
Just come, or join the convoy.
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantWith the convoy arriving that late, it would help to have at least a few people there earlier to help save tables. So please join me earlier if you can. Some people seemed to be needing their beers on Tuesday.
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantBoomer2u, in view of the weather forecast, I don’t think we’ll have too much difficulty saving tables, so if you want to roll out your convoy a little later (4:30 or 4:45?) , that would be fine. (On the other hand, 4:15 might be better for beating the rain.)
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantI’d skip the flexible schedule part. Driving in traffic and using public transit require flexible schedules. Bike commuting times are infinitely more predictable.
Arlingtonrider
ParticipantIt seems like today’s best chance for rain and possible flooding is right around our happy hour time. We’re on, but please watch conditions closely and stay safe.
