I rode it today. This is a great addition to the local trail network, although just a little too conveniently close to the Sugar Shack.

Checked out the outlet situation at Cap City. Suggest at least 25 feet of extension cord and tape for floor. (I’m going to check this again and see if there might be a way to make it shorter.)

For any who may not be aware, Teresa A, in the green jacket on the right, got off a plane from Paris at 5 p.m. yesterday and still managed to join the group at HP and stay til the end! (She’s a pretty awesome garage racer too.)

Watch out, #BAFS teams. Consularrider and KayakCyndi were spotted heading westbound on FMR after the morning coffee convoys, and they looked like they were on a mission!

Update: Stand down. I was mistaken. No ride to Purcellville by those two today.

It was great fun to come across and have a chance to ride and visit with three (!) #BAFS friends today in succession – first, alcova cyclist, then Mikey, then KarenW. It was wonderful to see all of you! You made my morning commute awesome.

DBB, thanks for the great post and photos!

How were the I-395 and Mt. Vernon Ave underpasses? Or did you just ride the part after Eads?
