ParticipantI rode it today. This is a great addition to the local trail network, although just a little too conveniently close to the Sugar Shack.

ParticipantBumping this up to get more RSVPs for the final BAFS 15 happy hour. Updated info about the happy hour is in the first post on this thread. Please let me know if you will be coming!

ParticipantChecked out the outlet situation at Cap City. Suggest at least 25 feet of extension cord and tape for floor. (I’m going to check this again and see if there might be a way to make it shorter.)

ParticipantI won’t be able to make this. The Cable Guy is coming. (Oh no!)

ParticipantNow that I’ve recovered a little more from Thursday evening’s late night fun, I’ve updated the first post and will add to it if needed. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

ParticipantFor any who may not be aware, Teresa A, in the green jacket on the right, got off a plane from Paris at 5 p.m. yesterday and still managed to join the group at HP and stay til the end! (She’s a pretty awesome garage racer too.)

ParticipantThat was so much fun! Special thanks to JRenaut for coming up with this awesome idea and bringing the amazing brownies, and to Steve O and SarahB and many others for incredible festivity and generous hospitality.
SarahB, it was so wonderful to see you out there supporting us in such a wonderful way even though you couldn’t ride. Thank you so much!!!

ParticipantDue to a work obligation early Friday, I’m not going to be able to make this. Sunyata, it sounds like you’ll have good company for the ride home. Have fun everyone!

If anyone is coming/going to the Shirlington/Fairlington area, I may consider going. I am not too keen on biking home that late at night by myself. Any takers?
A tentative yes here. Let’s stay in touch. There may be more as well.

ParticipantEchoing the posts above, many thanks to all involved (including my fellow riders) for making this a very fun pi-filled day!

ParticipantWatch out, #BAFS teams. Consularrider and KayakCyndi were spotted heading westbound on FMR after the morning coffee convoys, and they looked like they were on a mission!
Update: Stand down. I was mistaken. No ride to Purcellville by those two today.

ParticipantIn, but will join up from Misha’s. See ya’ll there!

ParticipantIt was great fun to come across and have a chance to ride and visit with three (!) #BAFS friends today in succession – first, alcova cyclist, then Mikey, then KarenW. It was wonderful to see all of you! You made my morning commute awesome.

ParticipantDBB, thanks for the great post and photos!
How were the I-395 and Mt. Vernon Ave underpasses? Or did you just ride the part after Eads?
