I’ll take a swing at this because I’m a profligate border crosser. It’s my heritage.

    I ride bikes. Period.

I’ll go to any bike event anywhere that involves cookies at a minimum (Bless you Proteus) and beer on the higher end. Sometimes I end up in Arlington getting my bimonthly flogging at the FreshBikes Tuesday night ride. Once a month I may end up at a FABB meeting trying to sort out what we can do in Fairfax to promote biking. If I’m really lucky I get a chance to roam around lost in the woods on the CCT. I ride all over the metropolitan area and don’t consider myself either an Arlington, Fairfax, DC, or Maryland cyclist. I’m a chick on a bike having fun.

    I’m an opportunist cyclist.

Because WABF has a diverse group of cyclists I think it’s a good idea to have a high-quality jersey with a decent design made for us. If there is one group that represents a wide range of biking styles, genders, and interests it is WABF.

Therefore, whatever design is selected should reflect this remarkable quality of WABF. Either that or it should simply say NPS PAWNS.

So I guess the idea of getting matching tattoos is over. Rats.

Bahahahahaha. *that* is the way to do a FreshBikes Tuesday night ride.

I’d rent one out for my birthday in a heartbeat.

    Thank you for sharing.

I think we are all just happy to have you back, 25 pounds up or down doesn’t matter.

    Ride strong.

    Welcome back.

In other words, emergency surgery did wonders for your cycling?

And Sir, I expect you are fully recovered or are you aiming for a little double century action?

Oh Riley, I won’t even ask whether you shave your legs…

And FWIW, you’d look perfectly acceptable in bib shorts but you can’t borrow my shoes or my rhinestones.

Some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a bike was the time I loaded up my jersey pockets with loaded water pistols and used them for target practice on my innocent, unsuspecting riding partner. It was also the perfect setup for practicing sprinting…

Holy Smokes! That’s terrible. I’m horrified. You never crash, and that sounds like a very bad wreck.

You are the second person today I’ve heard from who crashed on the MVT.

I’ll let you sort out the parts.

Me, I’m busy folding dollar bills. So looking forward to karaoke.

I’d be happy to help raffle stuff off.

AND, I completely forgot there were prizes involved in TWT.

I’m pretty sure you overestimated. No one wants to be subjected to *that*.

Look, Tim and Mark collectively represent the best of biking in Arlington. And I think they could do a great job interpreting the classic Queen song. And Ms. K, you just nominated yourself to join them on stage! I’ll throw in another $20 and lend you my cowbell. Just think of it as a different sort of Cliff Bar Challenge to benefit WABA. Don’t you love WABA?

    *Sigh*

    No drink specials.

    *Sob*

    No prizes or giveaways.

    *Gasp*

Mr. Blacknell, the least you and Tim could do for us is provide a little karaoke entertainment. I have $20 to see the two of you perform “Bicycle Race” by Queen in honor of the Tour De France. You could donate it to WABA. It would be for such a good cause.:D I could even bring a little bike bell to help out.

The other nifty thing about the underground parking garage is you can park your car in it. :)

Or, split the difference. Ride in during rush hour when Metro bans bikes then jump on Metro after HH to get home.

I’ll come for popcorn and the movie but probably need to get home after that.

(Blacknell, you slipped. You said something nice. The heat must be getting to you.)

Bikenetics has worked on my bikes since last winter. I can’t say enough positive things about the shop and the people who work there. Visiting the shop is like dropping in to see friends.
