No, it was Parkington. It was never called a “mall” until it became Ballston Commons Mall. When Springfield Mall opened, like Tysons Corner, it was a “day trip” for a Saturday.

Like Riley, I’m up for just about anything, although I might even go for the Velcro strap. The “problem” with clothing, even a jersey, is that it gets covered up at some point during the year. A strap or sticker or pannier/backpack stencil is that you only see it from one direction. (Us slow pokes will notice it when we get passed — but none of us will see a sticker on the back of a helmet when coming towards each other.)

For what it’s worth, I always thought eh BikeArlington jersey was the “unofficial” jersey of the forum
