Currently it’s set up way too aggressively for me since it was used for racing :-/. I need a less aggressive stem–likely shorter and tilted upwards a little. The woman who sold me the bike told me she started out with that type of a set up too, and recommended I do as well.

One quick thing you can do is take off the spacer and stem, put the space underneath the stem and retighten. It looks like you can raise the stem an inch because the steerer tube was never cut to match the current stem height.

Hard to tell, but it also looks it might be a -6° stem…flipping it over might get a little extra height as well.

Thanks! I actually looked at doing that–there are 2 spacers above the stem that can be moved down. I’ll give it a try on Friday or Saturday.

First test of rain canopy: keeps the kids completely dry. I cannot say the same for my raincoat and its effect on my body.

Finally got my Wabi on the road. I’ve got some brifters on the way for more hand positions but so far the ride is amazing. :)

Thanks and yes! I ordered some hoods / levers from Bikenetic over the weekend but have not had the chance to swing by the shop just yet.

Thanks! I haven’t used this one to commute yet so I doubt that I’m your co-worker :D

My TT bike Shiksa with her new Specialized Power Expert Aero Road saddle. I do believe this one, finally, is a winner. So far so good on comfort in all positions. 8e99bbbc7bedfa1d1a3d37faf184b724.jpg

Recently said “no more bikes” and then proceeded to buy this 1977(?) Fuji S10-S over the weekend.
