This. (http://www.aerostich.com/thermometer-clip.html)
The thing I miss most about switching to GPS and not using a traditional bike computer anymore (most recently had had the Planet Bike Protege 9) is having a thermometer to refer to during rides. Came across this little guy. Plan to clip it onto handlebars so I can know how freezing my saddle is.
Arrived today. Snapped right on to the bars. Time will tell how accurate and reactive the thermometer is.

Disconcertingly expensive.
Only about a month’s rent in my first apartment.

It’s spiffy, and I was plenty warm this morning with just my merino jersey underneath.
Also, really spiffy. The Wife said it fixed my temporary unbeardedness, even.
Nice. I almost pulled the trigger on that a couple of times, but was hard to justify when I already have the Rogue Hoodie…which is, BTW, one of my favorite pieces of bike clothing.

ParticipantHopefully Showerspass upped their build quality. I had one of their Elite 2.0 jackets several years ago, and while the design was nice, it fell apart in very short order, and the company was absolutely useless for support. Disappointing for such an expensive jacket.

It’s like learning to ride all over again, but I’m determined to get it right.

A new pipe and hat would go so well with my jacket! To the Amazons!

I think you are correct! But if I can just stay upright I’ll be happy!

ParticipantTook me a second…now I get it.
After three short sessions I managed to ride with my hands on the bars for a few minutes. This is going to fun!

ParticipantGiro Alpineduro boots after their first commute. The soles are quite grippy, which is more than I can say for most cycling shoes I’ve tried. The 47s fit well even though Giro claims it’s equivalent to a US 12.75 (I normally wear a US 12 or 11.5).
